The Lockwood Antique Hunter’s Agency is still looking for the art from the late Arthur Crockleford’s journals. Three forgeries were found in Boston, and Bella is on the trail in Scotland, as she approaches Fawsie Castle. When she vanishes, Carole and Freya take off to find her and figure out what is going on. Along with FBI agent Phil, they investigate and learn that Laird Euan McGovern is dead, and a silver collection, one that Arthur had in his journals, is missing. There’s a number of suspects, dead bodies start to pile up, Bella is found, and it all ends in a shocking reveal in the castle on the night of a massive snowstorm. This is the third book in the series, and it’s another fun one. The setting, the characters and the climax of the book are well-written, and fans of the first two will enjoy this one.
