Luke Daniels gets his own novel (he’s been in the Cotton Malone novels), and it’s an action thrill-ride right from the start. Luke is in England on some downtime, when he gets a call from Jillian Stein, an old friend. She’s in trouble, and need his help. So he flies off to Belgium in time to see a group of armed men attacking her house. They’ve killed her grandfather, and Luke and Jillian flee. The bad guys are after information that could change history forever, who really killed JFK in 1963, in Dallas. This sends the two on an adventure looking for information, dodging gunfights, and capture. It leads them to New Orleans, Dallas, and Wyoming, a fatal shootout, finding life changing information, and a betrayal. But Luke Daniels has been trained well by Cotton Malone, and always has a trick or two up his sleeve. Fans of Cotton Malone will love this book. It’s written the same way those books are, all action, with twists and turns. There’s two more Luke Daniels books in the near future, so bring them on.
You can pick up The 9th Man in stores on Tuesday, June 27th from Grand Central.
