Book Review: ‘Tell-Tale Bones: A Sarah Booth Delaney Novel’ By Carolyn Haines

Lydia Reed Maxwell vanished almost seven years ago, and is presumed to be dead. People think her abusive husband Tope did her in, and now he wants to get married again, and claim her fortune, by declaring her dead. Elise Reed, Lydia’s mother, has hired Sarah Booth Delaney, and Tinkie to investigate, and see if they can figure out one way or another what happened to her. They start asking questions, get mysterious tips and warnings to back off. But Sarah is not one to give up, and is determined one way or another to figure out what happened to Lydia, even if it puts her in danger. Another fun small-town mystery, with one of my favorite characters in Jetty the ghost, the dogs and cats, and of course Sarah, Tinkie, and Coleman. Fans of the series will be happy with this one.
