Coltrane Davis is a man about time. He has a daughter, who is an up-and-coming tennis star at the age of 13. He has a beautiful girlfriend whom he is ready to marry. He has lots of money and a dangerous job. He is a fixer for Saul, with whom he also runs scams with. He is given an assignment to find explicit pictures of a running back for the Chargers, it turns out to be a lot more involved than he thought. It takes him into the underbelly of San Diego, where illegal clubs with underage girls, gambling, drugs, and bad people. When Coltrane makes it his mission to save a girl, it puts his life in danger, and that of his family. He is not a man to back down, and will do what he has to do to save the people he cares about. This is the debut novel from former NFL player Andre Hardy, and it’s an intense, well-written novel that starts off fast and never lets up on the action. A great start to his writing career.
