Birdie Maxwell is a famous movie star, who has an on set meltdown, and for the time being kills her career, She ends up back in her hometown of Barton, California, and to her family and friends. She reconnects with her friend Mona, which also means her twin Elliot, who left her seven years ago after a one night together, and has gone on to be a Pulitzer-nominated journalist, who skirts the line when it comes to journalism. When Birdie finds a love letter from an ex, she goes on a road trip with Elliot, who is going to do a story on her, to meet up with old boyfriends, and try and figure out who sent it. They both think this is a feel good story that will get their careers back on track. Of course this means they start falling for each other, and though Birdie may be looking for an old love, a new love might be right in front of her. This is a fun rom-com, with two interesting characters, and a fun road trip. Fans of these types of novels, will love this one. In stores on Tuesday, March 5th from Berkley.
