Vampires and humans are able to live with each other thanks to fake blood that has been made so vamps don’t have to use humans for blood. Sophronia, who is a vampire, works for her father’s company, HemoCorp, and has developed a dating app, Stokr, that allows humans and vampires to match up and date and shows if it’s okay for vampirew to drink the blood of their match. It’s been going well, until something goes wrong with the app and it has to be shut down. It turns out someone has sabotaged it from the inside, and Sophronia teams up with Casey, a human, who is in charge of the technical side of the app, to find out who ruined the app. They have a small team working on it, and have a few leads. There’s also an attraction between Casey and Sophronia, and soon they’re having hot sex. It all leads to a break in the case, a showdown with who they think ruined the app, and a misunderstanding that could ruin the relationship between the two. This is a fun rom-com with two lead characters you get invested in following and root for. A strong supporting cast fills out the novel. Fans of vampires and romance will enjoy this one.
