On a small fishing island off of the New England coast, one woman has to solve a murder. The island has mostly fishermen, women and Italian POWs and a body washes up on shore. Mary Beth Swann, a cop, is in charge of the investigation, her police captain husband Archie is away at war. And he’s not the only body to be found. Mary Beth has very little to go on and no respect among the people living on the island. With the help of a few people, including a doctor, she will get to the bottom of this no matter what. A solid thriller story set during WWII, with a mystery you want to follow along with, right to the very end.
