It’s time for the annual three-month summer vacation for Blythe Benedict and her four children in Nantucket. She has a lot going on with three teenage children and one close to being a teen. It’s a time for family, the kid’s grandmother and aunt live there and her ex and his girlfriend will be coming for a couple of weeks. On her first night there she meets Nick and there’s an instant attraction to him. She also runs into Aaden, her high school love and the man she thought she would marry, until he went back to Ireland, breaking her heart and old feelings resurface for the two of them. With all sorts of family drama going on, two men vying for her heart, in will be a summer to remember. This is a great character-driven novel about a family and a woman finding possibly finding love again. Author Thayer is the queen of these kind of novels.
