Rory Morris leave NY City, her job and apartment to move out west to be with her pregnant twin sister Scarlett. On her first night back in town, she stops for a beer and runs inton Ian, an old high school friend, who always had the hots for Rory. Then on her way to Scarlett’s house she hits something in the mist and gets out to investigate. She’s attacked and bitten and left for dead. She wakes up in the hospital and feels different. She is really strong, has cravings for meat and stays away from silver. She figures out what she is and on the nights of full moons, she tries to hide herself and cuff herself with handcuffs. She’s also started dating Ian, who she is falling for. But she has to come to terms with who she is know and a past she’s never really come to terms with. The book is part rom-com, horror and is all heart. There’s witty moments and moments of revelations and you root for Rory to figure out her love for Ian and how she will keep the people she loves safe with her new condition.
