The book is in stores on Tuesday, November 19th.
The year is 2020 and Tori Gold is in hell. The pandemic is in full swing, her parents are getting divorced, and she is going to live with her mom and cousins in Massachusetts for now, moving from New York City. She also learns that forty years ago her uncle was part of a jewelry heist, and went to jail. When her cellphone runs out of battery time, she is transported back to the year 1980 and to the bedroom of her father Bobby, a few days before the jewelry heist is to take place. After convincing him of who she is and why she is there, they come up with a plan to stop the heist from taking place and keeping her family from going to jail and having their lives ruined. What she doesn’t know is a gang of thieves is also part of the theft and it is a race to stop them, save the diamond in question, and hopefully get back to her own time. This is a fun time-travel mystery, with interesting characters and a good look at 2020 and 1980 and all the differences. Readers will enjoy this one.
