After a year off, author Janet Evanovich is back with book number 32 in the series, and it is another great one. A lot is happening in this novel, it’s been a year since Stephanie and Morelli have gotten married, and though they love each other, they wonder if marriage is the right thing for them. Her job with Vinnie, bringing in people that have missed their court cases, is still a tough gig. Stephanie and Lula, one of the best characters in books today, have their hands full trying to catch these people so Vinnie can get his money back. On top of that, someone is harassing Stephanie and threatening her life. Then Ranger asks for help in protecting a young girl, who is 10, and threats have been made on her life. The usual fun things that happen in this book are all here, cars being wrecked, drinking at her parents’ house, Lula always wanting to eat and getting the best lines which will make you lol a lot, and the tension between Stephanie, Morelli and Ranger, and by the end of the book, Stephanie’s life has changed dramtically. These novels are always a lot of fun, and this might be the best one yet.
