Stella Johnson is 27 and still a virgin, and decides that this is the night she will lose her virginity. She goes with her best friend on Valentine’s night to a sex club and meets the hot Max Martinez Williams, and is ready to do it. Right as they’re about to get down to business, they both realize they don’t have a condom. When he goes to find one, Stella changes her mind and leaves, and they will never see each other again. She’s shocked the next day when Max comes walking into her work at a digital magazine as part of an AI team the boss is looking to hire to help out the writers. They are happy to see each other, but decide to keep whatever is going to happen to them a secret because the workers are worried about the AI costing jobs, and they have to figure out if it can work. This is another in a long line of well-written rom-coms. The chemistry between the two leads is off the charts and they have a lot in common, and you want them to be together. A good end-of-the-year love story.
