I will say this right off…I loved this book. It is so well-written with characters you root for and very funny at times. An early top ten book of the year. It’s combo buddy novel/rom-com/gay love story rolled into one. The Duke Of Malvern known as Valentine Layton is 28 years old and hasn’t lived very much. He’s suppose to marry Miss Arabella Tarleton based on an agreement with their fathers. He finally proposes (he doesn’t love her or even know her very well) but does what’s expected of him. She freaks out, says no and takes off. So the next morning Arabella’s twin brother Bonaventure aka Bonny shows up to find out what happened. He insists they go after his sister and that Valentine make things right. Well it turns into quite the adventures and we soon learn Bonny is gay and soon Valentine figures out what he has been missing and it’s Bonny. And along the way Valentine learns a lot about himself, sex, love and romance. But being a Duke can he really be with Bonny and commit to his late father’s wishes?
