Greer Hogan’s husband Dan was murdered four years ago in their Manhattan apartment. A man was arrested and sent to prison for it. Greer doesn’t believe that man did it. The day that Dan died, he told her he found something at his work and wanted to tell her, she didn’t have time to listen, and they would talk later, but they never did since he was dead. Now she’s back in New York and determined to figure out what exactly happened four years ago. She starts talking to everyone that had any knowledge of that night, former neighbors, doormen, his old bosses (which stirs up a hornet’s nest), and soon she’s on to something and is being followed. Then two people are killed, who she believed had knowledge of what happened, and when she finally figures things out, it may be too late. This is the fourth novel in the series, and it’s another great one, the character of Greer is so well-written. I really like this series, and it makes for a perfect beach, summer read.
