Madeline Galloway lives in Las Vegas, is the single mother of a six-year-old deaf girl, Lucy, and works as a chef in a Michelin- starred restaurant. She finds out it’s been sold and she is out of a job. Hudson Hayes is a hockey player in Washington and is looking for a personal chef. When Madeline finds out about it, she flies to D.C., and Hudson hires her and offers to let her and Lucy move in while she tries to find a place. They soon become good friends, and Madeline and Lucy become friends with his teammates and their wives. A growing attraction develops between the two and soon they are having hot sex and falling in love. Madeline was burned once before and wants to take it slow, and then Hudaon makes a grand sacrifice for both Madelien and Lucy. This is a hot, sexy, fun novel with three lead characters who will melt your heart. The supporting cast, the bromances, and the family that the team is adds to the novel. This is one of the best rom-coms of the year and will put a smile on your face.
