Raven is 25 and lives with her stepfather, who is an ass, and her stepbrother, Ash, whom she loves. She suffers from a curse; she has this lump on her back and no idea how to get rid of it. Turns out it is her magic; she comes from a line of witches. When her aunt Deliah shows up, someone she has never known, she shows her how to get rid of it, and Raven now has her magic, which she wants to get rid of. She soon learns how to use her magic with help from Deliah, but is also tasked with trying to find an evil spirit that is roaming around. She also helps a young witch named Cherry with her magic, and falls for Irdris, who also has magic in his body, and is trying to help Raven as well with her own magic. This is a fun, magical love story that hits all the right notes. Fans of fantasy and magic will enjoy this one.
