The Titanic is headed off on its maiden voyage from England to New York, and for three people, it will change their lives forever. Hannah Martin and her husband Charles, have been having issues since they lost their baby two years ago, before it was born, and they have never been the same since. Louisa is Hannah’s best friend, and is running away from her demanding father, who has told her she is to be married or cut off financially. For Hannah, she hopes to reconnect with Martin, and has a secret that will change things. Louisa has found love with a man she never thought she would, and she also has a secret. As their secrets are revealed, the ship hits the iceberg, and we know what happens from her on out. The only question is who lives, who dies, and how these people’s lives will go on. This is a great character-driven novel that you get emotionally invested in. Make sure to have some tissues handy, you will need them.
