Bryden Frost is married to Sam, they have a young daughter, and they seem to have a great marriage. When she doesn’t pick up her daughter at daycare, Sam starts to panic. He calls her sister, her best friend, and no one has heard from her. He calls the police, who begin an investigation. Soon, they find her body stuffed in a suitcase in a storage unit. Everyone soon becomes a suspect, and with good reason, it seems everyone has secrets that come out slowly. Detective Jayne Salter interviews everyone on more than one occasion, and she has no solid evidence to charge anyone, until she gets a break in the case and finally puts the pieces together. This is a great psychological thriller that engages you from the start, and just when you think you may have it solved, she throws in more twists and turns. Author Shari Lapena has once again written a masterpiece of a novel. This one is not to be missed.
