Greer Hogan is a librarian and a widow. He husband was killed in an attempted robbery in their house and a man went to jail for it. She doesn’t believe he was the murderer and she’s out to prove it. She’s attending her best friend Sarah’s wedding in Mirror Lake, just outside of Lake Placid. She’s going to use this occasion to do some investigating. Before she can get to into it, a murder takes place during the wedding reception. She puts on her amateur detective cap and starts investigating. Greer uses everything she’s learned from reading detective novels and hot on the trail of the killer and soon figures out what happened, but will it be too late for her? The second book in the series is another fun novel, set in a small town with interesting characters and a fun murder mystery. These kind of books are a lot of fun to read.
