A thrilling debut action adventure novel, with a great premise, that delivers on all cylinders. He’s known as Seventeen, and he’s a contract killer. He’s given assignments and has to carry them out. There’s been sixteen before him and soon number Eighteen tries to take him out and it was a big mistake. After his job in Berlin, he’s given his next job, take out number sixteen, who walked out and has not been seen in years. The only thing known about him is he is an author, with a series of successful novels. Seventeen soon tracks him down to a house in a small northern town and the game is on. But Sixteen isn’t stupid and he knows what’s going on soon it becomes a game of cat and mouse, but just who is taking who out? After a summit and comparing of notes, they figure out what is going on and make a plan to take out who really wants them dead, and it leads to an awesome climatic showdown. Fans of this genre will be real happy with this one. The book is written really well, with short chapters that get to the plot and very easy to read. You will not want to put it down. I can’t wait for the second novel in 2024.
You can pick up Seventeen in stores on Tuesday, November 1st form Hanover Square Press.
