Book Review: ‘Seven Girls Gone: A Quinn & Costa Novel’ By Allison Brennan

A small town in the Bayou outside of New Orleans is the setting for the next thrilling Quinn & Costa novel. In the last three years, prostitutes have gone missing, and found dead. Drugs are running rampant, and some of the local police are corrupt. Detective Beau Hebert is one of the good guys, and has been trying to solve the murders, and corruption, with no luck. Now he has called his friend, FBI agent Michael Harris, and Kara Quinn arrives with him. When more murders take place, Costa arrives with help, and the FBI starts investigating, pissing off the locals. With a team now assembled, Quinn and Costa, along with Beau and Michael start an in depth investigation, and soon get people to talk, and figure out what exactly is going on here. Fans of this series will be happy with this latest novel. And the duo have to face what their relationship is, just sex or something more? The bayou setting is great here, and the small town locals are a good-added touch to the story.
