A group of friends gathers for a brunch for Ana, who has broken up with her horrible boyfriend, Paul, to have an ‘ex-orcism’ party to remove him from all aspects of their lives. During the brunch, the police arrive and inform them that Paul is dead, he’s been murdered, and Ana is a potential suspect. During the party, one of the guests, Iggy, is poisoned and ends up in the hospital. Fearing for her life, Ana teams up with her sister, Vera, to try and figure out who murdered Paul. As they investigate, they learn Paul was hated by a lot of people, and we learn a secret involving the detective who is leading the investigation, and other secrets are revealed. Author Lisa Unger has done it again. This is another thrilling thriller that only she can write. This is one you will not want to put down.
