Mona Miller works at a travel magazine and usually gets fluff pieces to write. When her boss tells her she’s getting an assisgment to go to Iceland for ten days, she jumps at it. Then the photographer walks into his office, and her face drops it’s Ben Carter, her childhood best friend and first love. He ghosted her and broke her heart fourteen years ago. When they get to Iceland, they are having a good time, a few kisses, and it would be easy to fall back into love. Is there such a thing for a second chance? Mona must decide if she can take the chance. This is a well-written rom-com, with a great setting in Iceland, and a look at who these two people are and watching them try and put the hurt behind them and move forward together.
