The final novel in the Eden/Sacramento series from Karen Rose is a thrill ride. It starts off strong and never lets up. Readers of the first two will love this final chapter. And if you’re like me and haven’t read any of the previous ones…don’t worry it’s reads like a stand-alone novel. Eden the ‘cult’ that the FBI has been trying to capture for years is on the move again. They have new members including Hayley, who is expecting a baby and her younger brother Graham. Neither want to be there and are trying to figure out a way to get out. FBI Agents Tom Hunter and Gideon Reynolds are on the case and when Hayley gets out an e-mail it may be what they need to find them. DJ is second in charge and is planning to try and get all the secret money that Pastor has hidden and to also take down Mercy, who is Gideon’s sister, who he attemped to kill years ago, and is determined to finish the job now. He will leave a trail of bodies in his quest and keeps staying one step ahead of the FBI. It all leads to a climatic showdown which will put many lives in danger.

You can pick up Say Goodbye in stores on Tuesday, August 3rd from Berkley.
