Ellie Rae Pang has overbearing, rich parents who try to control her life. She’s been dating George for two months now and her parents want to merge the two families for business reasons. She decides to take off and open a healthy treats bakery for people that have diabetes, like she does. When she gets to the place she rented she finds it a mess and her brother has someone that can help her, the one man in the world she cannot stand that broke her heart ten years ago, Alex MacKenzie. She agrees to let him help, moves in with her until things get going and agrees to be his fake girlfriend for his business needs. They spar, argue and fall for each other and finally have hot sex (a steamy scene). Just when it seems they will be together, shocking secrets about his past blows them apart and Alex makes a grand gesture that he hopes will win her back. The chemistry, the romance and sizzle between these two make for one hot novel. This is the debut novel from author Timoti and it’s a good one!
