Andrea, Ronnie and Lauren are all newcomers to Raisin Beach, California and newcomers to the Silver Swans Nursery Academy (it’s an upscale place for those with money). After a tough year with covid and the economic downturn, they are getting discounts to enroll their young children. After an initial meeting at the school the three women become fast friends. They also each have secrets they don’t want to come out. And each of them after the first day get threats in their children’s backpacks. They band together to try and find out who left the notes and why. So they break into the school and search for clues. Then an attack at the school leaves one person in a coma and three ladies being questioned and all their secrets coming out. But who made the attack leads to even more shocking secrets and reveals.

Author Sara Shepard (Pretty Little Liars) spins a tale of secrets, shocks and twists and turns that keep the reader engaged throughout the novel and when you think it might be over more bombshells are revealed. Fans of Pretty Little Lies will really enjoy this one.

You can pick up Safe In My Arms in stores on Tuesday, July 27th from Dutton.
