Nat Phillips is the leader of a special forces group that is off the record as part of the United States government. Only a few people know about them, including the President. After a dicey opp near Baghdad, he is back at his home in Nantucket, where a US senator is now living next door to him, and is running to be the next President. His group has arrived on the island for a visit and gets news, they are now part of a new group, named “Rocket’s Red Glare.” When all hell breaks out on the island, a terrorist attack has blown up a ferry ship, taken down the airport, and killed a hotel full of secret service members, Nat’s group is on the attack. The bodies are piling up, a Senator is dead, and a member of his team is in serious condition. It leads back to one person, someone Nat throught he could trust, and now he is on the hunt, and that is not a good thing for this person. This is an incredible action thriller that starts off fast and never lets up. Authors James Patterson and Matt Eversmann have written one of the best novels of the summer. I can’t wait for the next book in this new series, with a lot left to resolve with these characters.
