Book Review: ‘Robert B. Parker’s Fallout: A Jesse Stone Novel’ By Mike Lupica

Jesse, Molly and Suit are at the baseball game of Suit’s newphew, Jack, rooting him and the team on. Jesse has been working with him on his game and he’s got a bright future ahead of him. After they win the game there’s a party and Jack is found dead at in water, having fallen or been thrown over. Jesse starts an investigation and even talks with his friend and ex-chief Charlie Farrell, who has his own issues with spammers calling and ripping people off of money. And then Charlie is found dead by Stone. Now he has two investigations going and not many leads. No one wants to talk and Jesse finally catches a few breaks and soon it leads to a dangerous man, one who gives Jesse a warning. Then secrets are revealed and a lot more has been going on than Jesse thought and as he puts the pieces together, he finds his life in danger and one shocking person could might be the only one to save him. Author Mike Lupica has done a great job since taking over this series and this is another good Jesse Stone novel, with all the characters you’ve grown to love. Fans of the seires will not be disappointed.
