Dylan Welch, the cofounder of the energy drink Gonzo has gone missing, and Sunny is called up to investigate and find him. At first, she turns it down, then is offered a lot of money, the family is rich, so she takes the case. Dylan has a history of trouble, including alcohol, drugs and even a restraining order against him from his ex-girlfriend. As she starts investigating, an employee is found dead, and another, Sky, is shot in her office, and all signs point to Dylan. Things are not adding up for Sunny and she thinks that Dylan is being set up and narrows her search to include Sky, who she learns is a talented actress and handy with technical skills. When she thinks she has the case solved, a twist comes up and she finds her life in danger. Also, her personal life could be changing, now that she and Ritchie have reconnected and possibly getting back together. This is another good novel in the series. I always enjoy reading these books and Alison Gaylin has a good grip on the character and the stories. Fans of the series will be happy with this one.
