The follow-up to Willing Prey centers on the characters of Caine, brother of Shane (from the first novel), and Margot Walker, who is house-sitting and works for Shane and his wife. She is dealing with the fact that her a-hole ex-husband, whom she sent to prison, is out and might be after her. When she hears noises in the house, she finds Caine is there, and he insists on staying by her side when he learns the truth. He has been in love with Margot since they hooked up five years ago. They soon start having sex again, and Margot makes a list of crazy, kinky things she wants to do, and Caine is more than happy to do whatever she wants. In between all the ot hookups, things keep happening, and soon there’s a deadly faceoff with her ex, and the two declare their love for each other. This is another sexy, hot, very sexual novel, and I loved every minute of it. The lead characters have off-the-charts chemistry, and watching their adventures is fun and exciting. Beware, you will need a cold shower by the time you finish the novel.
