Book Review: ‘Perfect Shot: A Special Agent Alexandra Martel Novel’ By Steve Urszenyi

You don’t often get action-adventure novels featuring kick-ass woman as leads, and author Steve Urszenyi nails it with this one. FBI agent Alexandra (who is a medic, and sniper), Alex for short, in Europe, when she learns that an old friend, an M15 officer, has been killed, she follows the trail of what happened to her, determined to find her killer. She finds what appears to be a nuclear plot, and no one believes her, so she’s on her own, until one is actually stolen by Russians at a Turkey air force base. She, along with a CIA agent, who has an agenda of his own, are soon on the trail. The action takes her from London to Paris, to the catacombs, this novel is all action, and Alex is a well-written, new action star. This is the first novel in the series, and it’s great, with action-packed scenes, and a plot that will keep you reading along. Here’s to more Special Agent Alex Martel novels.
