Book Review: ‘Perfect Little Lives: A Novel’ By Amber And Danielle Brown

Ten years ago, when Simone was 13, her mother was murdered, and her father was convicted of the crime and is in jail. Now ten years later she’s fighting to get him cleared, she never thought he did it. When she runs into her old childhood friend Hunter, he gives her some new info on their past. Her mother and his father were having an affair, they both knew they had sex, when they walked in on them, but didn’t know until now it was a long affair, and when she died she was three months pregnant, and it could have been Hunter’s dad’s baby. Now Simone is obsessed with finding out really happened, even it ruins her relationship with her boyfriend, costs her the job and possible promotion, and losing Hunter over her suspicions. This is a delicious, sexy, fun novel to read. You’ll want to keep reading along, and follow Simone on her quest for the truth.
