On a Monday night in New York City, a sex club called Down and Dirty, is busy on this night with a bachelorette party for two women getting married in a few days. Things go horribly wrong when one of the brides is in a private room, getting ready to reveal a surprise, and is murdered. Eve Dallas gets the call, and she and Peabody are on the case. With no real leads, they interview everyone, and start their investigation. They start interviewing friends, family and ex-lovers and start to narrow down their suspects, with no solid leads or reasons why. Eve is determined to find the killer, no matter what it takes. Another solid Eve Dallas novel, number 59 in the series, with the trademark snark humor, romance, sex and Eve Dallas classic moments, that only author J.D. Robb can write. Long-time fans of the series will be happy with this one.
