Ali Reynolds is working on the taxes for her company, High Noon, when she takes a collect call for her husband B., it’s from his ex-wife, Clarice, who has been arrested for the murder of her husband, Charles, who was at one point the best friend of B. Also a suspect is the housekeeper, Donna Jean, who years ago killed her husband. Ali consults their A.I. FIgg and is convinced both women are innocent. Also Cami, one of their employees is in LA on business when she sees a strange man who seems to be following her. With the help again of Figg, they’re able to identify the man and who he might have been working with. Ali is on both cases and with Figg helping out, it’s only a matter of time before both cases will be solved. This is the 18th novel in the series and it’s another good one. Fans of the series will enjoy this one.
