Nicole Wood is one interesting person who’s always in trouble. She’s married to Kent but separated because she took $20,000 from him. She works for her sister’s cleaning company until she takes a paperback copy of Dante’s Inferno from one house and leaes it at another house and it starts a whole thing. See Nicole has this thing….she takes things she hears talking to her and puts them where they want to be…she’s not a thief…she is a mover of things. But to the common person she is a thief. And the copy of the book ends up at Andrea’s house, a woman who isolates herself and has a big secret she’s runing from. But the book brings back her past and now Nicole is caught up in. She teams up the P.I. Hawk her husband had hired to follow her and find the money and now he is team Nicole. When Kent threatens everyone she cares about, Nicole and Hawk team up to bring him down and solve the mystery that Andrea has. And along they way they just might fall in love.

This is a really well-written book with interesting plots that interwind. The characters of Nicole and Hawk are great and I wouldn’t mind more adventures with these two. Hopefully this will be a potential series of books. A great fall read.

You can pick up Other People’s Things in stores on Tuesday, September 21st from Lake Union Publishing.
