Book forty in this series is as good as the first one I read, which was five books ago. Lt. Milo Sturgis is on the case when a young woman is found naked and dead outside a health clinic. He calls Alex Delaware to assist on the case. Before they can even start investigating, a string of dead bodies turn up and they find a bunch of cold cases that tie the dead bodies together. They soon narrow down potential suspects and Alex’s wife Robin even helps out on the case. Alex soon figures out who the prime suspect may be and they set out to figure out if they have their man. These books are so good, the bromance/working relationship between Milo and Alex are the highlights of these novels. Fans of the long running series will enjoy this one.
