Mariel Rivera is living in New York and is a struggling screenwriter. She lost her job and was ghosted by her boyfriend, and is struggling to survive in the city. When she is rescued by a man named Dash after almost being trampled by a mob, they agree to work together. She thinks he will be perfect for the historical romance script she is working on. The more time they spend together, an attraction grows, and they soon start a sexual relationship as friends. The more time they spend together, the feelings start to grow. They both have to figure out where this relationship can go while working on their own projects. This is a good rom-com that hits all the right notes. Watching the two of them work together and fall for each other is refreshing and fun.
