Every mother’s worst nightmare comes true when Jill Lassiter’s three year old daughter Sophia goes missing at the playground. She is gone for 40 agonizing minutes until she is found. She has what looks like a needle mark on her arm. She’s checked out and is fine.

But then we find out someone is watching the Lassiter’s house and we are seeing secret writings from someone from a few years ago about some affair that was had. The days are getting counted down to when a plan is being put into action involving taking Sophia as a revenge plot. When Sophia is taken Jill goes crazy trying to find her along with David her husband. And of course the parents are always the first ones to be suspected.

They claim innocence and are grilled and then shunned when secrets come out about them that make one or both look really guilty. Not to mention clues that have been planted by the kidnapper. But with all good laid plans things start to unravel and Jill in one last desperate move tracks down her daughter and it leads to a shocking climax and shocking secret.

A suspenseful story with lots of twists and turns you don’t see coming, will keep the reader engaged right through the end reveal.

You can pick up Only Ever You in paperback on Tuesday, July 9th.
