Sara Chae has developed a new app called One Last Word, which will allow you to send messages to people after you die. She presents it at her place of work, to be shot down, and insulted, and she quits. She applies for a venture capital mentorship, and is accepted, and also has a problem, the app, which scans for death notices, finds a Sara Chae dead, not this Sara, and sends out a bunch of test e-mails in Sara’s folder, to her parents, friends and others, and not all are nice, She gets accepted into the mentorship, and finds out she will be working under Henry Shim, a man she has a big crush on in high school, and who liked her back, but it never went anywhere. They soon find an attraction between them, and grow close, but the job, family pressures, and his secret may keep them apart. A fun rom-com, with a strong female character, who stands up for what she believes, has you rooting for her to succeed. Another good book from author Suzanne Park.
