Three years ago, Eva lost her grandmother and suffered a miscarriage. She never got over it, and has been pushing herself to get her online business open in a shop in London. She’s been pushing everyone away, her husband James is fed up with her, her best friend Hallie feels shutout, and her assistant Diana is over worked. And now it’s Christmastime, and Eva has to go to one place where all her bad luck happened, and be with her friends and family, all who have had it with her. When she has a fight with James, and leaves, her Grandmother appears to her, and soon Eva is living each day in a loop as one of the people at the house where she is. She learns shocking things about their lives, and about hers and how she’s been acting. And now she has a lot to make up for, the only question is can it be too late to make amends? This is a well-written Christmas novel, that hits all the right notes, and it’s engaging to follow along with Eva, as she learns about her mistakes.
