Book Review: ‘On A Quiet Street: A Novel’ By Seraphina Nova Glass

If you’re a fan of shows like Desterate Housewives, this book is right for you. Suburban neighborhoods with people living in their big houses, who all have secrets, is the setting of this well-written, twisty, soapy story of three families and the strong women that take control of their situations. On the Oregon Coast there’s a gated community called Brighton Hills, where the the to do type of people live. Big houses, lush backyards, being part of the in-crowd and money to spend. For Cora she thinks her husband Finn is cheating. For Paige and Grant their marriage is in trouble after the shocking hit and run death of their son Caleb a year ago, it’s never been solved. And for Lucas and Georgia, who have a little baby, his wife is a shut-in and barely leaves the house (because her husband is a control freak and an abuser). Georgia is making plans to try and leave him. As it turns out all 3 women need each other when things happen they unite together and get to the bottom of what’s been going on. Paige finds to the proof of Finn’s cheating, Cora gets the proof of who did the hit and run, and Cora, Paige and Georgia team up to get her away from her husband, in a shocking way. These are 3 women you don’t want to mess with. THis is a really fun book to read and would be perfect for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend kickoff.
