Violet Manville secretly writes as Miss Hermione, a magazine writer in London, who answers questions about etiquette and love issues. She receives a message from a mother saying that her daughter, Margaret, has run off with a cult, she asks for her help. But there’s not much Violet can do, until her sister, Sephora, figures out it’s the daughter of her best friend. Violet pretends to want to join the group, finds her, and then Margaret is accused of murder, and Violet and Sephore try to figure out who the killer is, before it’s too late for Margaret. This is the second novel in the series, and it’s really good. The characters, and story, keep you engaged throughout the novel. Fans of the first one will enjoy this one.
