Stephanie Pum has big problems as the 31st novel begins. She’s engaged to both Ranger and Morelli, she had sex with both of them, unprotected, and she might be pregnant. She’s also in the process of getting her apartment fixed up after the fire. She has to bring in criminals who missed their hearings or she doesn’t get paid. On her docket are a vampire and a man named Jug, who is rich and out of his mind. Along with her trusty sidekick Lula (the best character in any book all year long), they have adventure after adventure, eat a lot of food and listen to Lula’s takes on life. Then there’s Herbert, a former high school classmate, who keeps showing up, wants to have sex with her and is a general pain in the ass. Then there is the big decision, pf which man to choose. This is another great novel in the series, with lots of LOL moments, and a really fun story to read. I just love these books. Now if Janet would please write a new Fox & O’Hare novel, I would be so happy.!
