The fourth book in the Bull Mountain series is a prequel novel. McFalls County, Georgia is run by Garrett Burroughs, and you stay out of your way of crossing him. When Nelson McKenna was young, he was bullied by his classmates and his father but luckily Clayton Burroughs, Garrett’s son, looked out for him, as did Kate and Amy. Now years later, he goes by Nails, and works for Garrett. On this night he gets into trouble at a local bar, when he saves a girl named Dallas, from being attacked in the bathroom, and ends up killing a man. He’s ordered out of town, given cash, and told to go to Florida, where he will meet with a man about his future. In his truck, he finds the girl, and she leaves with him, against his better judgement. What he doesn’t know is Clayton is on his trail to help him, and another man is after him for a different reason, and what he finds in Florida is not what he imagined at all. I have enjoyed all the books so far in this series, and this one is another great novel in the series. Fans of the series will enjoy this one.
