Rosie Maxwell moved from Tennessee to New York to go to NYU’s MFA program, to work on her writing, she wants to write romance novels. She’s in the same class with Aiden Huntington, a hot man, and from the first time they met, they have not liked each other. They spar in class and their Professor, Ida, has had it with them. She tells them they have to write a novel together for class or be kicked out of the class. They start to hang out together to work on their novel and start to like each other. The novel written in real time, follows along with their relationship and soon they fall for each other, as do the characters in their novel. They finally have sex (and it’s hot, with explicit love scenes). As they’re about to declare their love to each other, something happens to break them up and they both wonder if they, along with their characters can be together. This is a unique rom-com, in that it’s two stories, the relationship between the two, and the novel being written at the same time. This is one of the better novels in this genre this year.
