Book Review: ‘Not Alone: A Novel’ By Sarah K. Jackson

Five years ago, a storm wiped out mankind, and everything that went with it. Only a small amount of humans survived it. Katie had her baby five years, named Harry, and they have been cooped up in her London apartment ever since. She had a finance named Jack, who never made it back to her on that night. Katie sometimes has to leave the flat to look for food, and lately she’s not been feeling very well. They’re shocked when she sees another human. Katie decides it’s time to go look for Jack, and they leave the flat, and venture out on a trip that could be dangerous, and she has no way of knowing who or what is out there. This is the debut novel from author Sarah K. Jackson (and a hell of a book), and it’s an intense novel you will not want to put down. Be prepared for a ride.
