Fourteen years ago, Emma, Juliette and Daphne found their overbearing parents dead in their family home, each one thinking the other might have done it. They came up with a story about that night and stuck to it, even when the police didn’t believe them. Today the girls don’t talk to each other, and Emma is married to Nathan, who lost his job, and she finds out she’s pregnant. They decide, against her will, to move back to the family home, where Emma hasn’t set foot since that night, and people in town think she was the murderer. When tidbits of information come out about that night, Emma is determined to figure out what really happened, and then a shocking murder takes place. Emma now is more determined to figure things out, and it leads to a shocking reveal, one after the other, just who is a murderer? A thrilling psychological novel that starts off fast and never lets up. Fans of this kind of novels will be happy with this one.
