In December of 1994, Beth Packard, who was homecoming queen at school, vanished from the mall, and her boyfriend was found dead in the fountain; somebody had cut up his body. The police never found the killer or any trace of Beth after that night. Now, thirty years later, five friends, Tim, Kevin, Andy, Melissa, and Colleen, reunite to try to figure out what happened that night. The mall is slated to be destroyed the next day. Somehow, they’re able to go back in time to the night that Beth vanished and the murder took place. They are invisible to everyone, and as long as no one touches them, they can stay in the mall and observe. While this is going on in the present time, the police chief has gotten a new lead and has reopened the case from all those years ago. We follow along in the past and present time and soon learn shocking secrets from then and now, and we finally find out what happened all those years ago. This is an intense thriller, which starts off fast and never lets up. The story is one you do not want to put down, filled with all sorts of pop-nostalgia. This one is not to be missed.
