Book Review: ‘Next-Door Nemesis: A Novel’ By Alexa Martin

Collins Carter has had to move back to her parents in Ohio, after being betrayed in L.A. by her boyfriend, who stole an idea from her. That puts her in direct contact with Nathaniel Adams, who was a childhood friend, but is now an enemy, and is now the VP of the homeowners’ association. He wants her gone, and starts looking at every little thing about the house, and potential fines. When the office of president of the HOA becomes available, Collins decides to run for hit against Nathaniel, and all bets are off, they will both play dirty to win. We soon learn about their past, and watch them spar, until they fall for each other and have hot sex. Can they survive this election, and put their past behind them? Another fun rom-com, with some LOL moments, and a couple you root for to be together. Fans of this genre will enjoy this one.
