This book is GREAT! One of the best novels of the year. Frederick J. Fitzwilliam needs a roommate, and an ad is placed online. He has an apartment in the upscale are of Lincoln Park, outside of Chicago. Cassie needs a place, as she’s being evicted from her apartment. The rent on this place is $200 a month, and it sets off alarms for Cassie being so cheap. She goes and meets with Frederick, and finds him a bit off, but hot, and decides to take the place, but it does come with some rules she must follow. See it turns out he is a vampire, over 200 years old, having been in a coma for the last 100 years. When Cassie finds out, she freaks out, but Frederick appeals to her for help in learning how to live today, after being asleep for so long. Their attraction soon turns to hot sex and feelings. But his mother has promised him to another vampire years ago, and today that commitment is being called in, even though he wants nothing to do with it. And it’s up to Cassie to save him from these people. The writing is crisp, with lots of LOL moments, and two characters you just love reading and following along with. I hope there will be more novels with these two! A perfect Labor Day novel.

You can pick up My Roommate Is A Vampire in stores on Tuesday, August 29th from Berkley.
